The Canadian Federation of University Women-Sudbury annually supports higher education in women, especially through the awarding of scholarships and bursaries, and this year is no different.
CFUW-Sudbury aims to promote and sustain the interest of women in public affairs and encourages them to place their training and education at the service of the community, according to a news release. The Club raises more than $10,000 annually and has donated nearly $200,000 to education and community outreach since it was founded.
