The Collins Barrow Relay for Life Team was back out on the track at Laurentian University on June 17 to take part in yet another Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life.
Since 2002, the firm of Collins Barrow SNT LLP (CBSNT) has gone the extra mile to help raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
Their team, “A Counting for a Cure”, has far exceeded their fundraising goal, year after year.
Inspired by the partners’ pledge to match any funds raised by staff, the team has raised a grand total of $89,770 in the last 14 years.
Last year, the team was proud to be crowned Sudbury’s top fundraising team at the Relay for Life. Staff raised $8,000, which was matched by the firm, for a total contribution of $16,000.
This year, the team’s fundraising efforts were done in support of their Managing Partner, who was recently diagnosed. The trusted advisors were proud to donate a total of $10,923 to the Canadian Cancer Society.
“Every dollar raised, as part of Relay for Life, has a positive impact,” said Nicole Henri, team captain and Collins Barrow Manager.
“We are happy to go the distance for anyone who has been affected by this disease, giving hope to cancer victims now and well into the future.
