The community of Coniston is celebrating Winterfest from Feb. 10 to 13.
During the weekend, teams from the Coniston Minor Hockey Association (CMHA) will face off against each other, and a number of other family-friendly activities will be set up.
Kids are welcome to take part in Valentine's Day cookie decorating sessions on Feb. 12, and adults can compete in the couples snowshoe golf tournament. Dog and horse drawn sleigh rides will also take place during the day, and the evening will conclude with a Valentine's Day dance.
On Feb. 13, families can take part in sliding races and browse through the “collectible corner.”
The weekend will conclude with the 18th annual fish fry.
