A collision involving two boats on Meteor Lake resulted in the death of one person.
This, according to a media release issued today by the South Porcupine Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police.
The incident took place at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Sunday.
Meteor Lake is located south of Morin Village, midway between Sudbury and Timmins.
The OPP investigation is ongoing with the assistance of Technical Collision Investigators, and further details will be released as they become available.
