Get ready, Val Caron — Mary Brown’s Fried Chicken is opening its doors on Nov. 14.
Franchise owner Sheila Wu invites the community to come out and try Newfoundland’s favourite fried chicken franchise when it opens on Tuesday.
“Get ready to mark your calendar because on Tuesday, November 14th, we're throwing open our doors and inviting you to experience a whole new level of culinary excellence,” Wu told Sudbury.com.
The Val Caron Mary Brown’s is open Monday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Mary Brown’s first location opened in St. John’s, Newfoundland, in 1969. In 1972, the fried chicken shop began to franchise, opening two stores in Ontario. By 2023, the franchise has spread across the country with close to 200 Mary Brown’s locations in Canada.
Wu told Sudbury.com Mary Brown’s will also cater special events, parties, office meetings and other events.
“We would be truly honored to have you as our special guest and share this joyous occasion with us,” Wu said.
Mary Brown’s Val Caron is located at 3140 Old Highway 69N.
