Police seize drugs, weapon, cash

Members of the Greater Sudbury Police’s Drug Enforcement Unit stopped a car at the intersection of Notre Dame and King Street and arrested the four suspects. Police found the drug Clonazepam, smaller quantities of marijuana, oxycodone, hydromorphone, crack cocaine in the vehicle. The also seized a flick knife, a Taser and $785 in cash. Total value of the drugs is about $150.

The suspects, who range in age from 21 to 39, face of a variety of charges, including possession of a prohibited weapon, possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a weapon while prohibited and breach of probation. All four were scheduled to appear in court May 19.
