Northern Life hosted the sixth annual Community Builders Awards of Excellence at the Radisson Hotel Feb. 26.
The winners were Sudbury Theatre Centre in the Arts category,
Jean-Marc Spencer of Desjardins Caisses Populaires in the
Economic Development category, Jack Middleton Smith in the
Education category, the Junction Creek Stewardship Committee in
the Environment category, Homer Seguin in the Health Care
category, Steve Daniel in the Sports & Recreation category,
the Rotary Club of Sudbury in the Hall of Fame category and the
Kids Caring for Kids Remembering Laura Cotesta Cancer Drive won
in the Junior Citizen category.
A detailed documentary about the event will be aired on Channel
10 March 12 at 8 p.m.
