The City of Greater Sudbury has lowered a rainbow flag to half mast at Tom Davies Square to show solidarity with the people of Orlando, Florida.
On June 12, Omar Mateen opened fire in the Pulse Nightclub, one of the Florida city's largest LGBTQ nightclubs, and killed 50 people in the largest mass shooting in American history.
A vigil to remember the shooting victims is being held at Tom Davies Square tonight starting at 7:30 p.m.
