Redwood students to celebrate Family Literacy Day

Redwood Acres Public School students and staff will celebrate Family Literacy Day Jan. 27 with a number of activities. Members of the Sudbury Wolves hockey team will visit the school as guest readers.

Members of the Sudbury Wolves hockey team will visit the school as guest readers.

The school will also host a family literacy luncheon, where family members are welcome to join students for lunch. Family members and students will be able to read together in the school library or in the classroom following the luncheon.

This will be followed by an afternoon story time for junior kindergarten to Grade 5 students with “Mr. Story Socks,” Dale Pepin.
