Students and staff at Noëlville’s École St-Antoine held a barbecue lunch June 8 to raise funds in support of the family of two of its Grade 3 students.

Richard Viau, the father of Gillian and Olivia Viau, suffers from Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and hopes to go to Toronto for a double lung transplant. A double lung transplant is his only chance to regain his quality of life.

This procedure will help Viau, who is at the advanced stage of this illness, to recover his health.

“The extended family of École St-Antoine takes pride in donating $700 to the Viau family,” a press release said.
