Guilty Pleasures Bakeshop in Greater Sudbury has been recognized as a winner in the “Global Round” of the International Wedding Awards, an award presented to distinguished cake decorators across the world.

Winners for the International Wedding Awards are selected based on their client reviews and wedding portfolios from the last calendar year. Guilty Pleasures Bakeshop boasts a 5-star rating across all wedding platforms.

“It was so wonderful to work on so many weddings this summer after the pause we all felt in 2020,” said Martin, in a press release.

“Working with some clients for upwards of three years, you develop an such an entwined, intimate relationship. Seeing them finally tie the knot, many after three or even four postponements, is so fulfilling.

“The support we continue to receive from our community never ceases to amaze me. I am beyond proud of the work our team has done over the past four years and continue to be grateful for the over 200 amazing couples who’ve not only allowed us to be part of their very special day, but who’ve taken time out of their busy lives to leave us reviews, helping us to reach more and more people.”

Guilty Pleasures Bakeshop was also recognized in the local round of the International Wedding Awards near the start of 2021.

Guilty Pleasures Bakeshop isn’t the first Northern Ontario business to be honoured by the International Wedding Awards. In 2019, Rebecca Bose Photographer was also recognized for professional excellence in the local round photography category.
