Gas prices in Sudbury have dipped about two cents per litre over the past day after a spike earlier this week.

Most gas stations in the city are now charging 97.6, according to GasBuddy.com. The cheapest gas in town is 95.9 at Independent at the Pumps on Lorne. The most expensive gas in the city is 100.0 at Petro Canada in Hanmer.

In nearby Sturgeon Falls, gas ranges in price from 88.3 to 89.9.

The average price of gas in Ontario today is 91.6. The cheapest gas in the province is 70.3 in St. Catharines. The most expensive Ontario gas reported on GasBuddy.com today is 118.9 in Pickle Lake.
