Traffic update: Three construction updates start Monday

Municipal Road 55 west of Blueberry Hill:
 
Flag persons will be on site to maintain one lane of traffic flow, alternating in both directions, while contractors conduct paving operations where culvert replacements took place. Work is expected to be complete by end of day Tuesday, July 5.
 
St. Nicholas Street between Wembley Drive and Edinburgh Street: 
 
One lane will be maintained for local and emergency services traffic while construction is underway for watermain upgrades, as well as sanitary and storm sewer work and concrete and road work. Construction is expected to be completed mid-September, 2016.
 
Arvo Street between Sparks and Lamothe Streets:
 
Contractors will be starting to install a bib system for area residents in preparation for work beginning on July 11. One lane will be maintained for local and emergency traffic for the duration of the construction work. Construction is expected to be complete by Oct. 30.
 
Working hours on all three construction sites is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
