Traffic update: Watermain work to close lane on Lamothe Street

The installation of a watermain and connections will reduce one lane on Lamothe Street, between Roy Avenue and Holland Road, Sept. 22 to Oct. 7.

Flag persons will be on site directing traffic at Lamothe Street and Arvo Avenue. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. During off-work hours, one lane of traffic will be maintained with signs directing drivers to yield to oncoming traffic.
 
Kingsway, Sudbury: Shave and pave operations will result in intermittent lane closures overnight on the Kingsway, from Brady Street to Falconbridge, on Sept. 26 to 30. Work will be done between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
 
Kingsway, Sudbury: Sidewalk and curb replacement will close the eastbound curb lane on the Kingsway, between Kitchener Street and the Nissan Dealership, Sept. 26 to 30. Work will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The sidewalk will remain open to pedestrians.

*Festival Closure* Grey Street, Sudbury: Grey Street will be closed, from Elgin Street to Brady Street, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Sept. 24 for the Sudbury Celebrates Stompin' Tom video shoot. The rain date for the event (and road closure) is September 25, same times.
 
*Festival Closure* Larch Street/Elgin Street, Sudbury: French Fest festivities will close Larch Street, between Elgin Street and Durham Street, on Sept. 23 to Sep. 25. The northbound curb lane on Elgin Street will also close, between Medina Lane and Larch Street. Detour signs will be posted.
