The Sudbury Area Mining Supply and Service Association (SAMSSA) will induct two of its members into its hall of fame Dec. 4. Bob Morin, general manager of Mobile Parts, and Rick Lemieux Sr.

Last year, the TD Toybank collected 2,500 toys and $17,000 for the Salvation Army. This year, organizers are striving for that same goal, or better. Residents have until Dec. 7 to make their donations.

Collège Boréal president Denis Hubert-Dutrisac announced his retirement before the college's board of governors over the weekend. Hubert-Dutrisac will leave the job as of September 2013.
