There's been a collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Paris Street and Maki Street, according to a tweet issued by Greater Sudbury Police at 11:30 a.m. (File)

A woman was treated for minor injuries at the scene by EMS, according to Greater Sudbury Police. No charges were laid against either the pedestrian or the motorist.

"Road safety is a shared responsibility," said a tweet issued by police. "As a pedestrian, always make eye contact w driver when able and as a driver always make sure a pedestrian stops before you proceed. Never assume."
