Counterfeit U.S. bills circulating in Sudbury

In the month of January , there have been 20 occurrences of counterfeit U.S. bills being used at local business in the city of Greater Sudbury this month. The bills have been used in the Downtown, New Sudbury and South End shopping districts.

In the month of January , there have been 20 occurrences of counterfeit U.S. bills being used at local business in the city of Greater Sudbury this month.

The bills have been used in the Downtown, New Sudbury and South End shopping districts. 

The $50 U.S. bill has been used in most of the offenses however both $100 and $20 U.S. denominations have been circulating as well.
 
Please be aware when accepting cash currencies to be vigilant and look for signs that the bill is not a forgery.
