Crime Stoppers fugitive of the week

Greater Sudbury Police Service has issued a warrant for the arrest of Mark Stopciati, alleged to committed assault against another man. Officers attended a home on Lorne Street this month for an assault complaint.

Greater Sudbury Police Service has issued a warrant for the arrest of Mark Stopciati, alleged to committed assault against another man.

Officers attended a home on Lorne Street this month for an assault complaint. The victim did not require medical attention.

Stopciati was on probation at the time, so he is alleged to have breached court-ordered conditions.

He is wanted for assault with a weapon and three counts of breach of probation.

Stopciati is described as 5-11, 220 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to Stopciati's arrest.
