A 23-year-old Valley East man is facing charges as a result of driving in a manner dangerous to the public.
On June 22, Greater Sudbury Police observed a vehicle travelling at an extreme rate of speed and failing to obey stop signs.
Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over and identify the driver, but the suspect fled.
After consideration, the officers did not pursue the vehicle, but were able to stop the vehicle ten minutes later.
The male is currently in police custody, facing charges of flight from police, dangerous driving and breach of probation.
