A vehicle struck a hydro pole on Brady Street near Douglas Street at around 4:50 a.m. Wednesday morning, causing significant damage to the vehicle.
The vehicle's driver fled the scene before Greater Sudbury Police arrived on scene.
Due to the amount of damage to the vehicle, police are concerned about the welfare of the driver and other potential occupants. Police are searching the area and canvassing nearby businesses and homes to gather more information.
