Driver tries to grab youth

On July 18, members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service were called to Capreol in relation to a suspicious vehicle complaint.

On July 18, members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service were called to Capreol in relation to a suspicious vehicle complaint.

Further investigation revealed that two youths were walking along the roadway while carrying their skateboards, when a red coloured Chrysler Intrepid swerved toward them.

In addition, one of the occupants tried to grab the arm of one of the youths. It is unknown at this time if the suspects were upset at the youths or had other objectives in mind.

The suspect passenger is described as a white male in his early twenties, clean-shaven, with short brown hair.

The vehicle is described as a 1997 red Chrysler Intrepid.

This incident is currently under investigation by both the Uniform and the Criminal Investigations Divisions.
