Ontario Provincial Police in Warren have released the names of two men killed in a fatal crash on Hwy. 17 Friday, April 14.
Brian Trimmer, 29, and his four-month old son Nathan Trimmer, both from Powassan, were killed. Two passengers in the Trimmer vehicle were taken to St. Joseph's Health Centre in Sudbury with serious injuries.
Three vehicles were involved in the the head-on collision that
took place west of Hagar shortly after 2 pm.
The driver and passenger in a pickup truck were also taken to
hospital with non life-threatening injuries. There were no injuries
in the third vehicle, which police say was indirectly involved.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
