Frank Marasco, a well-known hair stylist in Greater Sudbury, is facing a second sexual assault charge.
Greater Sudbury Police said they received a complaint in January of a historical sexual assault that allegedly took place in 1978 in relation to a then 15-year-old girl. He was charged with sexual assault on Feb. 21.
The matter will be in court Oct. 28 to be spoken to.
Marasco’s first sexual assault charge returned to court last week, but only to set a date for Oct. 21. Details on that case were not released by police.
Marasco was arrested and charged on Nov. 28, 2019. He was the long-time operator of the salon A Touch of Class on Loach's Road.
Marasco has been a stylist since 1967, according to the description the salon supplied to Google.
