Greater Sudbury Police Service Officers arrested an 18-year-old student at Lo-Ellen Park High School in possession of 55 grams of marijuana.
Uniform Division officers responded to the drug complaint from the school's principal on Monday.
The student was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and was suspended from the school.
He will be appearing in court at a later date.
