Man charged with sex offences, may have victimized others

A Levack man has been charged with a number of sexual-related offences following a joint investigation by the Greater Sudbury Police Service Criminal Investigations Division, and the Sudbury District Children's Aid Society.

A Levack man has been charged with a number of sexual-related offences following a joint investigation by the Greater Sudbury Police Service Criminal Investigations Division, and the Sudbury District Children's Aid Society.

The investigation involved a child that was under the care of the Children's Aid Society.

The accused, Douglas Klasges, 62, has been charged with sexual exploitation, sexual assault and sexual interference.

Klasges is known to have had contact with other children within the community. The police and the Children's Aid Society have concerns that other children may also have been victimized by this man.
