Man robbed at knife point

Two females have been arrested following a robbery involving a weapon. At approximately 3:30 a.m Saturday, officers responded to a robbery complaint on Notre Dame Avenue. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Mac’s convenience store.

At approximately 3:30 a.m Saturday, officers responded to a robbery complaint on Notre Dame Avenue. The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Mac’s convenience store. 

The victim, an adult male, was approached by two females in a vehicle who were looking to purchase drugs. As one of the females was talking to the victim, the second approached from behind and held a knife to his throat, demanding money.

After giving them his money they fled the area. He obtained the vehicle license plate and called police. Shortly after being reported, police located the vehicle and the occupants were subsequently arrested.

Charged with robbery with a weapon are Anne Marie Dutrisac, 26, and Leslie Nault, 39, both of Greater Sudbury.

Both were scheduled to appear in bail court on Monday morning.
