A 41-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were charged with possession of counterfeit currency and possession of property obtained by crime after a search warrant was executed Feb. 26 at around 6 p.m. on their Donovan area residence.

Greater Sudbury Police found counterfeit money and stolen property in the residence. They found a duffle bag containing a number of sets of car keys, as well as garage door openers.

"It is believed that these articles may have been stolen as as result of residential break-ins as well as thefts from autos," stated a police press release.

"City residents who have been victimized by such activities are urged to report the thefts if they have not already done so to assist the investigators in identifying and returning the stolen property to the rightful owners."

The two accused are due to appear in bail court Feb. 27.
