Police hunt armed robber

On Monday, Sept. 16, at approximately 10:45 pm, a lone male entered Loach's Variety store, located at 208 Loach's Road, brandishing a knife, and demanded money from the female clerk.

On Monday, Sept. 16, at approximately 10:45 pm, a lone male entered Loach's Variety store, located at 208 Loach's Road, brandishing a knife, and demanded money from the female clerk.

She complied and the suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was last seeing running down Loach's Road towards Regent Street.

The clerk was not physically harmed in the incident.

The suspect is described as male, white, between the ages of 15-18, height between 5'8?-5'9?, and weighing between 140 and 150 lbs.

He had a thin build, short brown hair and was wearing a black baseball hat. The hat had a red and white decal on the front and his face was covered with a black bandana. He was also wearing a black baggy v-neck football jersey with red trim around the neck and red striped around the sleeves. He wore blue jeans as well.
