Greater Sudbury Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed a motor vehicle accident Monday afternoon in Minnow Lake to step forward.
A single motor vehicle collision took place on Bancroft Drive near the intersection of Manor Street around 1:20 am Monday.
A red Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control striking a hydro pole, which resulted in extensive damage to the vehicle.
The lone occupant was transported from the scene and brought to the St. Joseph's Hospital, where she was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
The police investigation is continuing and police urge any witnesses to contact them at 675-9171, ext. 2209.
