Police make quick arrest of wanted man

Updated June 3 at 8:45 a.m.: In a news release this morning, Crime Stoppers announced that police have arrested Darren Saile, who was wanted for an assault and for breaching his probation. Saile was arrested without incident, Crime Stoppers said.

Updated June 3 at 8:45 a.m.: In a news release this morning, Crime Stoppers announced that police have arrested Darren Saile, who was wanted for an assault and for breaching his probation.

 

Saile was arrested without incident, Crime Stoppers said. A reward was offered yesterday for information leading to his capture.

 

The organization thanked the media and the public for providing assistance that led to the arrest.

Greater Sudbury Police Service have an outstanding warrant for the arrest of Darren Saile, 42.

Police allege Saile committed an assault on May 25, breaching court-imposed conditions of his probation. Saile faces a charge of assault and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.

Saile stands 6-1 and weighs 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
