Police seek info about stabbing

On Sunday, Sept. 28, at approximately 8 pm, police and paramedics responded to a stabbing that occurred in the parking lot area outside the Tim Horton's restaurant at 196 Cedar St. in downtown Sudbury.

On Sunday, Sept. 28, at approximately 8 pm, police and paramedics responded to a stabbing that occurred in the parking lot area outside the Tim Horton's restaurant at 196 Cedar St. in downtown Sudbury.

A 47-year old Bancroft Drive man in suffered a stab wound to the abdomen as a result of an altercation that took place at the location.

He was transported to St. Joseph's Health Centre by ambulance and treated for non-life threatening injuries, and subsequently released.

The suspect is described as being a white male, approximately 17 years of age, 5'4", slim build, curly hair, with a goatee and some beard growth.

He was wearing a dark baseball cap, long light-coloured hooded sweatshirt, and track pants.
