On Wednesday, Dec 12, the Joint Forces Drug Unit, which consists of members of the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section and the Greater Sudbury Police Service, executed a search warrant at a residence located on Estelle St. in Sudbury.
Police seized the following items from the residence:
-453.3 grams of cannabis marijuana (1 pound)
-567.09 grams of cocaine (1.25 pounds)
-6 morphine tablets (200 mgs each)
-Canadian currency $25,505.62
-A black 22 caliber metal magazine cartridge
-Offence-related property relating to the offence of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and several items seized under an assets investigation regarding the three accused.
Total value of drugs seized - $60,500.00
Stephen McCullough, 27, Dylan Mazur, 25, and Jesse Mazur, 22, all face charges of possession for the purpose schedule I – cocaine, possession for the purpose schedule I – other drugs, possession for the purpose schedule II under 3 kg – marijuana, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000 and unauthorized possession of a weapon. Jesse Mazur and McCullough are also charged with possession of a firearm while prohibited.
