Sudbury police are waiting for an autopsy to be performed on the human remains found in Junction Creek on Saturday evening, before they can release more information about the person's death.

Greater Sudbury Police Services Staff Sgt. Craig Maki said he was hoping a post-mortem could be performed Monday, but the coroner is also preoccupied with three deaths that occurred in Timmins over the weekend.

A driver was killed in a motor vehicle collision Friday on Highway 101 East.

On Saturday, police found two bodies in a Timmins residence. They suspect foul play in their deaths.
All three autopsies are scheduled to be performed in Sudbury.

Maki said they will release more information about the human remains found in Junction Creek as soon as it is available.
