Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Child Sexual Exploitation section conducted an investigation into allegations of a male in the Sudbury area who was chatting over the Internet with a 13-year-old girl.
On June 11, officers executed a search warrant at a Sudbury area residence and seized a computer. They located and arrested the 40-year-old male suspect.

He was scheduled to attend bail court Thursday.
The Greater Sudbury Police Service Cyber Crime Unit is part of the Ontario Provincial Strategy - Internet Crimes against Children, which has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services and the Ministry of the Attorney General.
