The 22nd Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run takes place tonight (Tuesday) at 5 p.m.

The Run will begin at Science North, head north on Paris Street, over the Bridge of Nations, left on Brady Street and ending at the court yard of Tom Davies Square.  Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service, the Ontario Provincial Police and Correctional Services will be accompanied by Special Olympians on this run.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is an organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities by raising awareness for this unique group.  In Ontario alone, since the early 90s, well over $10 million has been raised by law enforcement personnel.

You are encouraged to show your support on May 27 as the runners make the trek along Paris St.
