UPDATE: Two individuals were transported to hospital to have their injuries examined following the accident. The injuries suffered are described as serious but non-life-threatening.
The incident is still under investigation.
Please be advised that the Greater Sudbury Police Service, as well as Greater Sudbury Fire and Ambulance are in the process of attending to a serious motor vehicle collision in the area of Regent Street and Bouchard Street in Sudbury.
Police are asking the public to refrain from travelling in this area so that the injured can be attended to in a safe and efficient manner.
The public is also advised that there will be significant delays for persons travelling through this area while the accident is being investigated.
Police appreciate the public’s co-operation while they conduct this investigation.
