Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service were successful in obtaining drug-related search warrants for a residence on Granite St. and an apartment on Notre-Dame Ave. in Sudbury.
Police seized $3,905 in Canadian currency, approximately one pound (523 grams) of cocaine, which police estimate had an approximate street value of $50, 000 and cannabis resin, valued at approximately $900.
Packaging materials and a cell phone were also seized.
Two men, one age 34 and the other age 59, of Greater Sudbury, both face charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
