Greater Sudbury Police and the OPP were involved in a high-speed chase Aug. 29 with a vehicle stolen from the Markstay area.
The OPP followed the stolen vehicle to Coniston where the chase was picked up by Greater Sudbury Police.
Police say they called off the chase shortly after in the interest of public safety.
The vehicle was found abandoned on Bancroft Dr. where police used a canine unit to track the suspects.
Two youths were arrested on The Kingsway. They cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The 14 year-old driver and the 15 year-old passenger face a number of criminal charges.
