Wanted: Reward offered for alleged violent car thief in two-year-old crime

The Sudbury OPP are looking for a man who allegedly beat and robbed a Markstay-Warren resident two years ago.

Police say Tyler Parkin, 44, was on Bennet Road in Markstay-Warren on July 14, 2015, when he allegedly assaulted and stole the person’s vehicle.

Parkin faces charges of assault, robbery with theft, theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle, mischief under $5,000 and failing to attend court.

He’s described as standing 6-2 and weighing 230 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.

Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to his arrest.
