Greater Sudbury Police have arrested and charged a Sudbury woman with aggravated assault following a stabbing last night on Bellevue Avenue.
Police were called to Bellevue, which connects Howey Drive to Bancroft Drive in Minnow Lake, just after 1 a.m. last night. A 38-year-old man was found stabbed. He is being treated at Health Sciences North for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
GSPS said in a news release the investigation led them to a 47-year-old Sudbury woman, who now faces a charge of aggravated assault.
She is to appear in bail court today to answer to these charges.
