Interest in the Northern Ontario Fastball Championships for women and men is rising following an announcement on Al's Fastball website.
The third annual tournament takes place from Aug. 15 to 17 and all six league teams have committed to participate. The Manitoulin Island Fastball league with six teams, the North Shore League with eight teams, and others, have shown interest.
Organizers are hoping to register 12 men's teams and eight women's teams.
The deadline for entry fees and full rosters is Aug. 5. Cost is $375.
