Sudbury has taken the first two contests, winning 3-0 on Sept. 15 and 4-2 on Sept. 18.

The winner of the challenge gets bragging rights and a fancy banquet.

Sudbury sits in first place in the Eastern Division with a record of 6-2, good for 12 points. North Bay is second, with a record of 5-3, good for 10 points.

Top three scorers for Sudbury are: Brian McGarry with 10 goals and 26 points in eight games (which also leads the NOJHL), Jordan Prevost with seven
goals and 12 points in seven games and Josh Slobodian with five goals and 12 points in eight games.

Top three scorers for North Bay are: Justin Roy with one goal and seven points in seven games, Toby Brune with seven points in eight games and Neil MacDonald with three goals and six points in eight games.

Wolves veteran captain McGarry recently made headlines by scoring his 300th NOJHL point. McGarry notched one goal and five assists in an 11-2 thrashing of Manitoulin to reach the fabled 300-point plateau on Oct. 9. McGarry has 123 goals and 177 assists. McGarry sits in seventh place in all-time NOJHL scoring. Sudbury Wolves assistant coach, Bryan Verreault, holds the all-time points in a career with 409.
