The Ontario Elementary Nordic Ski Championships were held at Hardwood Hills outside of Barrie this past weekend, with over 250 children from all over the province attending.
Laurentian Nordic Ski Club results:
Nicholas Taillefer, Alexander Public School - Junior boys -
1st place
Tim Tindall, Independant - Intermediate boys - 1st place
Hailey Balaz, Marymount Academy - Senior girls- 2nd place
Molly Kennedy, Pius XI - Intermediate girls - very strong
finish in her category
The relay team, which consisted of all four of these students, came fourth.
