The Lockerby Vikings varsity football team
was crushed 32-8 by the Widdifield Wildcats this past Saturday
in the Northern Ontario Secondary School's Athletics
(NOSSA) semifinal in North Bay.
Vikings quarterback Brett McKnight scored a
lone touchdown during the loss.
Lockerby had defeated Confederation 7-6 in
the city final to advance to the NOSSA semifinal.
