The best short track speed skating athletes will be in Greater Sudbury this week, competing at the 2007 Canadian Open Short Track Championship.
The event, hosted by the Sudbury Sprinters Speed Skating Club,
is being held at the Countryside Arena from Jan. 18 to 20.
Canada's Top 32 women and Top 32 men will race for gold and a
chance to make Canada's national squad for future World Cup and
other international events leading up to the 2010 Olympic
Winter Games (OWG) in Vancouver.
