Wolves invade Brampton Thursday

The Sudbury Wolves are on the road Thursday to play the Brampton Battalion, who are barely hanging onto the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. With a 20-17-2-5 record, the Wolves are fourth in the East with 47 points.

The Sudbury Wolves are on the road Thursday to play the Brampton Battalion, who are barely hanging onto the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

With a 20-17-2-5 record, the Wolves are fourth in the East with 47 points. They've won two and lost two since acquiring forward Justin Donati, goalie Sebastian Dahm and defenceman Zach McCullough at the trade deadline.

The Wolves are coming off a loss to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds Tuesday. Sudbury was defeated in the shoot-out which required nine rounds to complete.

Brampton meanwhile has 40 points and is one point ahead of the ninth place Ottawa 67's. The Battalion have won five of their last seven games.
