Crash claims life of former Wolves' player
Former Sudbury Wolves' winger Stefan Blaho was killed in a car crash Tuesday night in his home-country of Slovakia. Blaho was a passenger in a friend's car when the accident happened around midnight.

The Copper Cliff Redmen minor midget team is holding try outs on Sept. 4 at the Copper Cliff Arena from 8:30 to 10 am and 8 to 9:30 pm. The squad will play in the Nickel District AA midget league for the 2006-07 season.
