Whitefish Lake First Nation will be host to this year's 2008 All Ontario Native Fastball Championships for ladies, men and old-timers, a press release stated.

The third annual Ladies Golf Tournament for Easter Seals Kids held July 18 raised more than $28,000 for the cause. Those participating in the tournament enjoyed a day of indulgence, surprises and golf at Forest Ridge Golf and Country Club.
