BY SCOTT HADDOW The Sudbury Spartans brought some brooms to their practices this week to dust themselves off after suffering a humbling 50-1 loss to Oshawa last weekend.

High school sports in Greater Sudbury enjoyed a successful 2005-06 season. Individual athletes and teams reached great success and there were numerous OFSAA champions.

The Sudbury Panhellenic Women's Team will put their unbeaten record on the line in two big road matches on the pitch. On Saturday, July 8, they face the East York Jaguars at 2:30 pm in Toronto. On Sunday, July 9, the women take on Peterborough City.
