It’s hard to believe there can be any positives out of the season the Wolves are going through, but there are more than you might think. “No pain, no gain” is the phrase that comes to mind.

Officially, the goal is still to make the playoffs — realistically, the Wolves are looking to the future.

With the Wolves approaching the half way point of the season, I thought it would be interesting to take some time to look at what might be on the team’s Christmas list.

Normally, a record of 4-7-0-1 isn’t something to get excited about, but for the 2014-2015 Sudbury Wolves, it’s a highlight.

No one will deny it has been a tough couple of months for the Sudbury Wolves, but while not a lot has gone right, it hasn’t been all bad.

There was one question on every fan’s mind going into the Sudbury Wolves season, a question everyone hoped wouldn’t become an issue. However, after the first five games, we got our answer: This team has trouble creating offence.

The Sudbury Wolves are just a little over a week away from the start of the 2014-2015 Ontario Hockey League regular season and there is one thing that has become quite obvious: This team is going to be a work in progress.
